But no, this is another Markus expertly plucking those strings. Got to have it, anyway ;-)

Improvisations on acoustic guitar and some "electronic treatments" from Vienna. Impressive, to say the least! Favorite track: Hypermental Accident.

Michael Peters making interesting experimental acoustic guitar music, without relying on an army of loops and effect pedals, is a demanding task. Markus does an admirable job here Favorite track: Aftermath Rock.

"Ghosts In My Pocket" is a selection of acoustic guitar improvisations.
Being an electric guitar player most of my time made it really special for me to record an acoustic album. Being so close to the resonating body evokes an intimacy and immediacy which brought out new aspects of my playing.
This album is an exploration of the different qualities of this particular instrument, its dynamic range, tunings, picking tecchniques and preparations.
Electronic treatments create an extended ambience. A space in which the songs can appear like ghosts - something that is present yet invisible.

The idea of pieces of art as ghosts was inspired by the work of Lilian Wieser. Her sculptures (which are featured in the artwork) are connecting time and space with another dimension. They are a depiction of ideas and feelings in the infinite space of conciousness.
